A stunning journey through Iceland

As travelling remains a vague and nostalgic reminder of our possible everyday life, we turn back to this beautiful video made by the travel writer and photographer Kellie Netherwood.

ON THE BEACH. A screen shot from Kellie Neterwood’s great time-lapse video showing Reynisdrangar rock formations on Iceland’s south coast, close to town Vík í Mýrdal.

As travelling remains a vague and nostalgic reminder of our possible everyday life, we turn back to this beautiful video made by the travel writer and photographer Kellie Netherwood. This great four minute time-lapse journey through Iceland was posted on the blog Icelandmag.is

When visiting Iceland some years ago, Netherwood experimented for the first time with capturing some time-lapse footage with her new GoPro, while also keeping on shooting with her Canon 5D Mark II.

The song is “Hoppípolla” by Icelandic band Sigur Rós.
